The Internet's Powerhouse is in Northern Virginia

This interactive map shows top data centers, known as hyperscale data centers, in Northern Virginia (NoVa).

Northern Virginia, home to the renowned "Data Center Alley," is the world’s largest data center hub, handling over 70% of global internet traffic. As hyperscalers continue to expand their presence in the region, they’ve also attracted a surge in colocation facilities, further solidifying its importance in the global tech infrastructure.

However, with limited land availability and power capacity, the region faces significant challenges. Large-scale power expansions are years away, raising a critical question: Is owning land here a lucrative opportunity or a risky bet?
